Cruel Poetry

Sunken eyed beggar
Begs my poet on the road
Then a poem came

P.S. I'm off for a week now. Will be back with updates to make up for the time. In the meantime comments on this poem are welcome.

And if poems are that easy to come forth, I too would be one!

  2. When virtue and vice themsleves are (but) material for art, to what corner do what corners of his mind should the artist dispatch 'suffering' ?!

I have a childish fancy for these types of "making of the poem" poems. Gives an illusion of closeness because the poet is pretending to take the reader backstage. Good one.

  3. @Parvati - You would be one? Beggar or poet? ;)
@MSP - Thanks a lot. You've pretty much hit what I had in midn when I wrote this one.

  4. I too would be a beggar and from a beggar becoming a poet seems instantaneous...:)
